Private pottery lessons in Milan
Would you like to become confident enough to work independently at the wheel, overcome a specific technical difficulty, or turn an idea into a concrete project?
Private lessons are designed around exactly what you need, without following a fixed programme or spending time on skills you have already mastered.
We can start with the fundamentals and help you quickly develop the confidence and independence you need to practise on your own, either at home or during the Open Lab.
If you already have some experience, we can focus on a particular challenge: improving your centring, throwing larger pieces, gaining better control over shapes and thicknesses, making bottle necks, handles or lids, or working through any other stage that continues to cause difficulties.
Private lessons are also an ideal way to develop a personal project. Together, we can explore shapes, proportions and working methods until we create a process that you can repeat independently. This could mean designing and producing a small series of candle holders, cups or containers on the wheel, for example.
Every lesson starts with your current level and the result you want to achieve. We work practically, observing what actually happens while you are at the wheel, correcting problems as they arise and finding solutions you can continue to apply on your own.
